Adam leads Protection Guru's detailed protection research and benchmarking of both product and operation features provided by insurers and has a vast knowledge of the protection market. He has been instrumental in building the Protection Guru’s bespoke benchmarking of protection products and maintaining the data to enable advisers to quickly and easily compare protection products based on qualitative measures. He also works with adviser firms to help in panel reviews and with insurers to help them understand the shape of the market, their strengths and the areas that could be improved in their products. In his spare time and when not spending time with his wife and two children, Adam is a keen Arsenal fan and enjoys hacking his way around a golf course.
I have worked with LifeSearch for the last 12 years but have been in financial services since the age of 21. I started with LifeSearch as an advisor and talking to customers around IP was always a passion of mine. I then moved over to head up our Best Practice team but for the last 3 years I have been working with our Partnerships team with the aim of helping LifeSearch protect as many families as possible. Access to insurance has always been incredibly important to LifeSearch and to me personally and this has been my mission for the last eight months by working with our insurance partners to get the best outcomes possible for our families.
Katie is co-chair of the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) and is also an independent life and health insurance consultant at Tabei, supporting providers with proposition development, actuarial services, marketing and communications.
Georgia d’Esterre is Head of Marketing at Holloway Friendly and has over 14 years’ experience of Marketing in the Financial Services industry. During her career she has created and implemented marketing strategies to stimulate growth and attract new customers, developed and executed new brand purposes and identities, as well as developing data, digital and social media practices to target customers effectively. She’s right at home hanging out in her countryside abode with her husband, young daughter and crazy Labrador, as well as the chickens of ‘Cluckingham Palace’!
John Brazier is an experienced B2B journalist and editor. He took on the position of editor for COVER in February 2021. He was previously editor of The Trade, a buy-side publication for a readership of global asset managers, hedge funds and traders. Prior to this, John spent three years with WatersTechnology, a fintech publication with a global audience, where he held roles of European staff writer and then deputy editor, working across the buy- and sell-side brands of the title. He has also worked on a number of energy, personal finance, retail IT and technology brands, and has personal interests in literature, technology and environmental issues.
