The new enhanced 'Classic Plus' offers your clients a quality income protection plan, with a range of options.
- No Occupational, Gender or Smoker loadings.
- Deferment Period options - 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 13 weeks, 26 weeks, 52 weeks.
- No Initial 12 week qualifying period for benefit entitlement.
- Definition of Incapacity - 'Own Occupation' for 24 months changing to suited thereafter.
- A choice of retirement age between 50 and 65 inclusive.
- With Profits element - Following 36 months membership there is an annual profit allocation and compound bonus.
- Waiver of Premium - Comes into effect after 52 weeks of benefit payment.
- Level or Escalating Benefit - Benefit payments remain constant throughout the claim or payments increase annually in line with RPI by a maximum of 10% per annum.
- Maximum Cover - Up to 50% of gross income to a maximum cover level of £500 per week or £26,000 per annum.
- Premiums increase with age attained on the 1st January in line with the published guaranteed rate table.
