Classic
Our Classic plan is our longest standing product and has been around since the mid 1900’s. Its popularity has not diminished especially amongst self-employed clients. It offers Day 1 cover with no gender smoker or occupational loadings whilst having the added benefit of own occupation definition of disability throughout the term of the contract.
Other features of this plan include:
- Deferment Period options - Day 1 or 4, 13, 26 and 52 week deferred.
- Benefit is paid from your chosen deferment period at the full benefit level for the first 52 weeks of claim, reducing by 50% thereafter. However, the benefit will revert to full benefit following a 12-month claim free period.
- With Profits Plan - Following 24 months membership there is an annual profit allocation and compound bonus. This plan also currently benefits from the addition of a Terminal Bonus.
- Maximum Cover - Up to 60% of gross income to a maximum cover level of £700 per week or £36,400 per annum.
